Resilient Crisis Cube
1/12
The Resilient Crisis Cube is a part of my Thesis Project, Disaster Preparation, Response, and Recovery through Resilient Thinking, completed while studying at Boston Architectural College. It is an off-grid prefabricated emergency shelter that can provide electricity, water food, storage, and healthy living conditions for the occupants. Concepts are based on principles of resiliency and tie into recovery and disaster preparation efforts addressed in the paper. The Crisis Cube is made from recycled shipping containers and utilizes a solar array, water collection, food production and construction material reuse to eliminate waste.
